Kingdom Priorities;
- His Presence
- His People
- His Purpose
In His presence is fullness if joy… Psalm 16:11
Starting our day of prayer and fasting with praise, seeking His presence, is exactly the way to start this wonderful day. Expressing gratitude through thanksgiving, telling Him how wonderful and blessed we are to be His children.
Fellowshipping with Jesus, entertaining His presence, isn’t something that is just a nice thing to do on Sunday morning, but it is our magnificent obsession. It is how we start our day. We wake up with Him on our mind, thanksgiving and praise coming from our mouths.
Seek FIRST (first in priority AND chronology) the Kingdom of God… Matthew 6:33
This can be frustrating at times, trying to get into his presence when we feel the pressures of life, stress, health issues, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, etc. There are times I, myself feel like I am just going through the motions. But if I can be intentional about it, and honest with Jesus about how I’m feeling, and struggling in that moment, I can often change that frustration into true praise and worship and enter into His presence.
Remember, we don’t have to do it flawlessly; we do it even if it’s flawed, because the point isn’t our performance, the point is His presence.
He inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3
How can we intentionally get in His presence today?
What can we set aside today, that may hinder us from entering in His presence?
Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name,
